I have not been very happy for a long time. I hope the day will come soon.

2nd day of CNY

Had an usual gathering at my house with all my relatives. The lau yu sheng was as messy as usual, bits of yu sheng will b flying everywhere, on the table, on the floor, except on the plate. ha.



I think i m too old, but i m definitely trying to catch up with the trend. Apparently korean is the "IN" thing now, korean pop, korean drama. My cousins are korean fanatics, apparently their generation are. They know everything about KPOP, all the group names, the members, songs, mtv, youtube, blogs, bla bla bla, you name it, they know it. They literally turn my parent's room into a dance studio, Y? because there is a mirror inside, give them the dance studio feeling...-_- And they started dancing to the MP3 songs played out on their hp and my HP is used to record their dance moves. hahaa..it is so hilarious. Now I have tonnes of "home made" mtvs in my hp.

Going back sch tml. Yeah. I am so looking forward to the rest of this week. :(

新年快乐~~恭喜发财~~身体健康

今年我可以说以往年有一点不同， 可能是fyp和其他的因素，我无法放开心去尽情的享受。可是,我还是会尽量的度过这个假期.

在除夕夜，和婆婆和叔叔一家人吃了团圆饭之后，我到了四马路观音庙。还好我们去的早，人潮不是很多。 在凌晨12点，我到了花市去买花。越迟去，价钱就越低。哈哈！我在赏花的当时，有一只非常可爱的小狗狗向我们走来，它似乎不怕我们，在我面前坐了下来。它还摆了一个很滑稽的姿势，真是太可爱了！

在凌晨11点59分，一间花店里的所有ah neh 都聚集在一起，一到12点，每个ah neh 都一起喊 HUAT AH 和丢炮炮，场面非常好笑。:)



在大年初一，和以往一样，早上和下午是我到处到亲戚的家拜年。和往年不同的是，我和我的堂弟妹们去看了半夜场，"大兵小将". 这部电影瞒好笑的, 有几幕真的让我们笑到,哈哈哈! 陈龙的搞笑武打场面，和王力宏的滑稽表情，真是让全场笑翻天．有空可要去看!

现在, 我正在忙着做准备, 做一些最后的打扫和把食物摆好. 因为每年初二, 我的亲戚都会到我家拜年. 今年他们也能看到我种的辣椒和番茄. 哈哈!

啊!打得好辛苦啊! 我希望没什么错别字. 要不然有人一定会乘机笑我的, 哈哈~~好累啊～

Drained

I am so tired and hungry. My stomach was growling so loudly when i am doing my experiment just now. I am going to eat now.

I think I have no life. Everyday revolves around my lab.

I need more spice in my life.

I need extra motivation from somewhere.

Ok I shall stop complaining. For now. Too tired to complain.

Most importantly, I got to remind myself to be more careful when driving next time. Attention attention attention please.

6 more days to CNY.

Chinese new year has always been my favourite occasion every year. Just had my first lau yu sheng yesterday at my uncle's house. Normally we will gather there on chu yi, but ever since my grandma passed away, yearly chu yi gathering at her place with all the "see once a year" relatives has stopped. However, this year all gathered 1 wk before CNY and I am truly surprised but happy at the same time.

It is good to see everyone again and of cause, my cute little cousins. haha.

Having such gathering brought back fond memories of me and my cousins when we were still young. We will go to my grandparents house every sunday and we will play and eat and play.

1. We used to play soccer at the garden and courtyard. But they seems so small now, maybe its because we have grown up.

2. We used to force our girl cousin to be the monkey while we are playing with the ball. haha

3. We used to play badminton or volleyball with the neighbour and use the house divider as the net. And the shuttle or ball will ALWAYS end up on the roof/drain.

4. Every week without fail, my grandpa will give us money to order pizza hut and hawaiian pizza is our all time favourite.

5. How I got chase by the dog and cried as a result. haa

6. How I played with a floor tile and it landed and broke my toenail. ( I still don't know why I played with such a thing.........)

Those were the days. Days without worries, concerns, everything seems so fun. I miss them.

Jiayou Jiayou Jiayou

Trying to have a motivational title, to motivate myself to get things done.

Going back to lab after 4pm tml, I may need to do OT to get more things done. Friday will be F** day, whole day dedicated to it. Looks like it is inevitable to come back on saturdays. Who will want to come back on weekends nearing CNY. haiz. What a great build up to the upcoming CNY. :(

Career fair starts tomorrow. Hope to get some good response from the companies. I did not seemed to have a smooth path in job finding recently, either rejected or no response.

Speaking about grad trip, there is no planning yet. Seems like there is no common destination to settle on. (Although I prefer taiwan or korea). It looks likely that I will spend my grad trip in the sunny island of Singapore.

All the best to everyone and jiayou in all that we do (tests, ***, problems we faced, obstacles). Most importantly, try to be happy. (trying very hard to tell myself)

1. It broke once again. At the rate it is breaking, I think I got to come back on saturday again. Haiz

2. Ok I should be getting a new phone soon, who wanna go bugis walk walk / shop shop (no need spend $$)? haha

3. Finally, one of my chilli turn red. Ok, the only thing that got me excited in an otherwise not so brilliant day.

I always feel tired on Mondays, although my lesson starts at 10am (same as thursday) and I sleep earlier the night before. OK, I think it is just me, heavy resistance to Monday.

Yeah, first harvest of the summer :)
